Ian in northern Sudan so BlackBerry doesn't work there except over WiFi also not full function I would be happy to use BlackBerry at least over android OS but I prefer bb OS we already use Android OS but update tastelessness most app not work with old versions but bb os even bb 7 u can compare with Android 4.4.2 example just looking at multitasking in bb it's better than any android even IPhone playing video at same site no needs to use players then the security issues Andro can win in apps field but no more need lotof ram ,but fuck American embargo for not enjoying bb service

Let's face it: except for the number of available apps in their stores, Windows wins over Android in all aspects, except customizability. (which is not even needed in Windows, as it has a polished, simple and easy to use interface - unlike Android)
These are some areas where Windows is a clear winner over Android:
- performance
- OS stability
- application stability
- battery management
- updates
- security
- user interface design
- keyboard design

Anonymous, 25 Aug 2015 Yes. Only desperate companies are turning to Android. Stable companies use either Windows or iOS.Lol windows phone is a goner. Only companies as strong as Nokia can hold it up. Even samsung and htc failed with windows phone.

As a BlackBerry Classic owner, I do enjoy the BB OS quite a bit.
I wouldn't say it's flawless though - there are one or two things that annoy me about it.
Overall it's pretty good though.

However, I'd be happy to see BlackBerry devices running Android.
Would be good to see some new QWERTY devices on Android.

Guys the Blackberry OS 10 is excellent! Really very good, you should try it. I prefer it over android, and since you already have the ability to install Android apps on it then it's giving you the best of both worlds.

Blackberry are well known for their high security and privacy which is something that android lacks and are trying to work on lately.

I prefer the original Blackberry passport silver edition over this android version. Although the recently leaked Venus should have Android on board customized with Blackberry software additions so it would be a better choice than a Vanilla Android.

Seriously if you're looking for Vanilla Android( pure android without manufacture customisations) than you're better off with a Nexus and Moto not Blackberry.

Strange my initial comment doesn't seem to have been published. I will try again. I find the phone ugly myself and surely it's only niche? The only thing to save Blackberry will be a well-designed pair of smartphones, mid and high end, with latest tech (not last year's CPUs) and Android.

My main phone is the iPhone 5S. Second in command is Blackberry Classic. However, couple things. Blackberry has been my main phone. All of 2014 to early 2015 Blackberry 10 was my Field Commander, aka my main phone. Right now my Z10 and Z30 are benched, and now also introduced into my team the Samsung GS6, HTC One M9, and LG G4. I really like Android OS. It is very smooth and so many cool things you can do. Music and Camera quality are amazing. iPhone has all the apps, games, and media and feel premium, also my iPhone is very small so it fits in my pocket and can be easily concealed (in case of robbery haha). But that being said, reason my Classic is second in command, is because the way BB feels from the others makes it super easy for messaging which is big for me. The Remember app is all kinds of useful and the way it handles multi task is second to none for me. The way Classic handles BB OS 10.3 is a bit smoother than on the Z30, but no big difference other than Z30 being able to handle games and movies far way better. What I am getting at is, this Blackberry Silver Passport droid, if it runs anything like my other droids on my team, I think I welcome Google Play music which I love.. only if it is able to acquire a Music Equalizer for Google Play Music like the one on the Samsung GS6 (since there is no EQ for GPM on the G4 or HTC). Also the stock music player equalizer on the G4 and GS6 is one of the BEST, I would love that on the BB, although the BB 10 music EQ is quite alright, sounds much like the iPhone Music EQ. Messaging.. agh.. here the tough part. What makes BB so special is its way of handling messages, and it loses it with Android.. but heck man, lets see how it plays out... UNLESS... Unless much like the HTC Sense which slides to the side, if Android can implement a HUB into this android device like the SENSE does on HTC, then heck!!! We might have a winner!!
